Vanessa I’Anson
Vanessa is our Talking Therapies practitioner based at Beaconsfield Health Hub, offering individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, and specialist brief therapy for new parents to clients across Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, and the surrounding areas.
Trained in Transactional Analysis (TA) and currently in advanced training at the Metanoia Institute, Vanessa works relationally — meaning the therapeutic relationship itself is at the heart of everything.
She holds certificates in Counselling Therapeutic Skills and Studies, Adult Bereavement Support, and Relational Couples Counselling, and is registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Vanessa feels passionately about empowering people to understand themselves more deeply. Whether you have come to a crossroads in your career, are grieving the loss of a loved one, navigating a difficult relationship, or simply want to understand why certain patterns keep repeating — she will be alongside you as you explore the present, make sense of the past, and work towards the future you want.
She has a particular interest in supporting people through the transition to new parenthood — including processing birth experiences and working through the relational challenges that so often arise, both in romantic partnerships and wider family dynamics, following the arrival of a newborn.
