Posted on Larisa Townsend I recently took my 7-year-old daughter to see Kaya and had a truly excellent experience. Kaya was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly reassuring throughout the appointment. She took the time to explain everything clearly, made my daughter feel completely at ease, and really listened to our concerns. We left with a simple, easy-to-follow set of exercises and a clear plan moving forward, which gave us a lot of confidence. I’m really grateful for her thoughtful approach and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring osteopath.Posted on Mark Loftus (lofty) It is difficult to put into words just how important Amy at Beaconsfield Health Hub has become to me, as an osteopath, a Pilates instructor, and after over a decade of weekly and bi-weekly treatment and instruction, a friend. When I first visited Amy I suffered from chronic back pain (as in every waking moment of every day) as well problems with my neck and both shoulders, and was so physically weak from inactivity I could not manage a single push-up or sit-up without a lot of help. Needless to say my mental health was not the best either. Today, I have a wholly different quality of life. I practice Pilates twice per week, need osteopathic treatment perhaps quarterly instead of weekly, and my chronic pain is a thing of the past. I no longer sit in a chair all day in fear of injury, I work in my garden, I have great core strength, and have even recently taken up martial arts. I had resigned myself to a life of pain and inactivity but thanks to Amy can now look forward to an active and enjoyable retirement (I am now 60 years of age and am fitter and healthier than I have been in 25 years or more). Needless to say I would not hesitate to recommend Amy to anyone with musculoskeletal pain or weakness. I have no doubt at all that she will help ease the pain with osteopathic treatment, and help you avoid it coming back with instruction in Pilates.Posted on Hilary Stewart I first saw Amy for a Mummy MOT three months postpartum. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me enormously, giving me a handful of bite sized, manageable exercises to support my healing and improve my mobility. I’ve now been seeing Amy for over a year for osteopathy appointments, and she continues to make a huge difference, relieving the strains that come with lifting two young children and returning to a desk-based job. I truly could not recommend her enough! In fact, most of my family have now seen Amy, George, or one of the fabulous team!Posted on Stephanie Blake I can’t recommend the Beaconsfield Health Hub highly enough. Every practitioner I’ve seen has been incredibly competent, supportive, and knowledgeable. Amy has been especially wonderful with her Mummy MOTs. They’ve made my whole postpartum experience so much more positive. Thank you!Posted on Jacqueline Morley Beaconsfield Health Hub has made a real difference to my life. Amy and George have created a friendly, fun environment where you can get expert treatment and advice. A place that can teach you how to help yourself. Whether you are recoverying from injury or just trying to improve your training this is the place to come. If you need treatment and rehab with people you can trust in the one place look no further. I always enjoy any time spent there and come away happy. Max, the personal trainer and Reb one of the pilares teachers have helped me enormously. Eveyone contributes with the practiticioners meeting regularly to discuss patients. I would highly recommend Beaconsfield Health Hub.A real team.Posted on Margriet Vandezande-Crump I highly recommend Beaconsfield Health Hub. The service is excellent, warm, and always so knowledgeable. I have been treated by Amy, who is an absolute master in her field, she tailors each session so precisely to what your body requires, and the improvement is remarkable. I’ve also completed a basic Pilates course there to strengthen my core, and it’s made a huge difference. The combination of expertise, care, and thoughtful guidance makes this an outstanding place for anyone looking to improve their health and wellbeing.Posted on Jessica Jones I can't sing the praises of Beaconsfield Health Hub enough. Having initially come here early in my postnatal journey, I came away feeling completely supported and understanding my body in a whole different light. Amy is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what she does as well as being so kind and a great listening ear; i always come away feeling reassured and that my specific issues have been addressed! With the wear and tear of being a mum of three young children (my back and hips had certainly taken a hit) Amy sessions have been absolutely tailored to my needs as well as giving helpful tips to continue the journey at home. I have also attended the clinic with my 8 year old daughter who suffered an ankle injury and again had a fantastic experience with Kaya who was brilliant and thorough with uncovering the problem and treating the issue. I would highly recommend the clinic and honestly wish I'd found them sooner for rehabilitation/mummy MOT with my previous babies! Thank you for everything you do!Posted on Deborah Croatto As an overachieving runner, Pilates naturally goes hand in hand. However what I get from Amy is far more than Pilates - whenever I come in she quickly assess what my body is doing that day and what I might need. Do I need a more rehab session or am I ready to work hard? Amy is also very personable making each session fun as well as challenging. When I injured myself on vacation she was available for on spot advice and when I got back she quickly got me into Osteo with Lucy who was wonderful too and helped rehab me. The space is also beautiful so definitely check it out!Posted on Claire Michael I can only say positive things about the Beaconsfield Health Hub! I have been seeing Amy and her team regularly throughout my pregnancy and following my Caesarian section. Amy is extremely knowledgeable and has made a huge difference to my postnatal recovery. The Mummy MOT was fantastic and I walked away feeling fully supported and confident in the best way to recover and rebuild strength. You can tell how passionate Amy is about what she does and how she genuinely cares about her patients. I have also started doing some 1x1 Pilates sessions in the on-site studios which have also fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some pre and post natal care!Posted on Anna Thomas Such an amazing hub for all your health & wellbeing needs. The team are so professional and experts in their field. Amy has helped me in more ways than imaginable at feeling more physically and mentally healthy & positive post pregnancy, birth and into perimenopause - I cannot rate the beaconsfield health hub highly enough.

What To Expect From Osteopathy
Osteopathic diagnosis includes listening to the patient’s history, thorough examinations of muscles and joints and observing movement patterns. X-rays, scans and other clinical investigations are also used if required. A wide range of gentle, non-invasive manual techniques such as deep tissue massage, joint articulation and manipulation are applied therapeutically as the treatment, with exercises given to complete in-between treatment sessions.
Osteopaths not only treat acute pain such as sports injuries or long standing chronic problems, but also help maintain and improve a healthy well rounded approach to life. It is also important to address each patient individually and formulate a realistic treatment plan that encompasses reducing any future risk of injury or pain. For this reason Osteopathy can treat the expectant mother or newborn baby right through to the nonagenarian.
All Osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council
