Olivia Syer
Pilates Instructor (Returning Soon)
Olivia joins our team as a Pilates instructor specialising in mat, reformer and pre and post natal Pilates. Olivia has a background in gymnastics and has always been in to fitness and sport. Having had two children, Pilates was the foundation of regaining her strength and she now has a passion to help others recognise the benefits it offers. Olivia trained with London Pilates Academy and has taught clients in all stages of their fitness journeys, from pre and post natal to those recovering from injuries. Her approach to teaching is ensuring each individualโs goals are tailored for in a friendly and structured way with attention to detail and hopefully igniting their own passion for Pilates.
Posted on Constance Rodger Iโve just finished a wonderful combined session with Sal (physiotherapist) and Max (personal trainer). Iโm almost 10 weeks postpartum and have had several incredibly useful and informative sessions with Sal regarding postpartum health and pelvic floor recovery. Thanks to the homework she provided, I was ready for my first PT session with Max today, and Sal was there to provide additional feedback, support, and even held my baby whilst I did the exercises! I understand that postpartum recovery requires patience and time, but with the expert guidance and support from both Sal and Max, I left the session feeling genuinely empowered. Theyโve taught me manageable, bite-sized exercises that I can incorporate into my daily routine of raising a family. I would highly recommend them to any mum, regardless of how far postpartum you are!Posted on Eileen Saunders I have been receiving Pilates one-to-one instruction from Sarah Fleming for several months, being new to this practice. I have found Sarah's gentle, steady encouragement helps me to find the confidence to move beyond my limitations in a way that feels safe yet transformative. Sarah doesn't just demonstrate a move, she takes time to explain the 'why'. She has made me feel much more confident about myself after many years of back pain. I highly recommend her.Posted on keith taylor I cannot praise the team at the Beaconsfield Health Hub (BHH) highly enough. I have significant lordosis and kyphosis problems (S shaped spine) and have been to many specialist practitioners, had MRI scans, injections, nerve oblations, all to no avail. My spine cannot be corrected but the muscles supporting everything are the issue. Thatโs what causes the significant back and shoulder pain. Our doctor recommended the BHH which is run by Amy and George together with a highly competent team, all of whom are delightful and work very effectively together. At my first meeting with George he identified the sources of most of my problems and also found I have legs of unequal length. His osteo treatment is the best I have encountered. As the senior osteopath, he briefs one of his Pilates team, in my case the delightful Reb, to a specific programme executed on a one-to-basis not available in a class format. This works! My wife is in the care at Amy who provides specialist treatment for women; she is delighted with this exceptional care. The environment at the BHH is lovely, the team is very friendly and very accomplished. Specialist treatment packages are available making it cost efficient. Cannot recommend this practice highly enough!Posted on Charlie Rodger I found the Beaconsfield health hub when looking for local treatment for my Achilles. Managed to get an appointment quickly with George and he treated me with Shock wave therapy, almost instant relief after weeks of pain and I was even able to play 9 holes the same day. The team were great, the clinic is really impressive and with onsite parking which was ideal given how busy beaconsfield can be. I will be recommending to all my friends and family. Thank you!Posted on El C Iโve had quite a few appointments with Max and Amy and it is honestly the best money Iโve ever spent!! As someone whoโs always been too nervous to go to the gym, Max has completely changed that! We came up with a routine that was fitted to me, so I actually enjoy it (Which I never thought Iโd say!) And Amy is so amazing! As someone who struggles with PCOS Amy has helped me understand and manage something that felt impossible. For the first time, I actually feel in control of my body! As well as this, I can message them at any time for any advice from diet to hormones to controlling stress. I genuinely could not recommend anything more.Posted on Larisa Townsend I recently took my 7-year-old daughter to see Kaya and had a truly excellent experience. Kaya was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly reassuring throughout the appointment. She took the time to explain everything clearly, made my daughter feel completely at ease, and really listened to our concerns. We left with a simple, easy-to-follow set of exercises and a clear plan moving forward, which gave us a lot of confidence. Iโm really grateful for her thoughtful approach and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring osteopath.Posted on Julia Iโd highly recommend the Mummy MOT at Beaconsfield Health Hub. Amy spent time both examining me physically and discussing how to help me feel like myself again. She supported me in creating a plan to rebuild my core after a C-section so I can confidently return to running and the other sports I love. The whole process feels very personalised and focused on my individual needs, offering a level of detail and guidance that went beyond what was covered at my routine 8-week check with the GP.Posted on Mark Loftus (lofty) It is difficult to put into words just how important Amy at Beaconsfield Health Hub has become to me, as an osteopath, a Pilates instructor, and after over a decade of weekly and bi-weekly treatment and instruction, a friend. When I first visited Amy I suffered from chronic back pain (as in every waking moment of every day) as well problems with my neck and both shoulders, and was so physically weak from inactivity I could not manage a single push-up or sit-up without a lot of help. Needless to say my mental health was not the best either. Today, I have a wholly different quality of life. I practice Pilates twice per week, need osteopathic treatment perhaps quarterly instead of weekly, and my chronic pain is a thing of the past. I no longer sit in a chair all day in fear of injury, I work in my garden, I have great core strength, and have even recently taken up martial arts. I had resigned myself to a life of pain and inactivity but thanks to Amy can now look forward to an active and enjoyable retirement (I am now 60 years of age and am fitter and healthier than I have been in 25 years or more). Needless to say I would not hesitate to recommend Amy to anyone with musculoskeletal pain or weakness. I have no doubt at all that she will help ease the pain with osteopathic treatment, and help you avoid it coming back with instruction in Pilates.Posted on Hilary Stewart I first saw Amy for a Mummy MOT three months postpartum. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me enormously, giving me a handful of bite sized, manageable exercises to support my healing and improve my mobility. Iโve now been seeing Amy for over a year for osteopathy appointments, and she continues to make a huge difference, relieving the strains that come with lifting two young children and returning to a desk-based job. I truly could not recommend her enough! In fact, most of my family have now seen Amy, George, or one of the fabulous team!Posted on Stephanie Blake I canโt recommend the Beaconsfield Health Hub highly enough. Every practitioner Iโve seen has been incredibly competent, supportive, and knowledgeable. Amy has been especially wonderful with her Mummy MOTs. Theyโve made my whole postpartum experience so much more positive. Thank you!
